Saluda, North Carolina
No trip to Western North Carolina is complete (for me, at least) without a day in Saluda--my hometown. You can see its claim to fame below. My first job was in this teeny-weeny town at the Green River BBQ. So, when we go to NC, we eat BBQ and take a stroll down Main Street.
It was so sweet to see Savanah, Jared & Evie sitting on the railroad tracks that run along Main Street. It was such a nostalgic moment for me!
