It's Fall!

Couldn't resist sharing a few photos from this afternoon. Isn't this jacket too cute on Evie???
Taking Jared's picture is very difficult these days. Actually, taking his photo is easy....getting a real smile (vs. a cheesy one) is the hard part. I decided to post the "non smiling" photo instead!

Monday afternoon at home

Madison (6 weeks old) and I sat on the couch and watched as Jared built an obstacle course in the living room.

Evie's Second Birthday

The day before her second birthday, Evie constructed her first sentence, "Daddy, I love you." Too sweet for a first conversation! :) While eating her birthday dinner at Chick-fil-A, she constructed her second sentence, "I need more" while holding out her empty juice box. So, it seems her first two loves are Daddy and food. Typical.....

After eating at a family favorite place we enjoyed iced cookies from The Great American Cookie Company. Too yummy to pass up. Evie made a huge mess with her cookie, which was okay with Mom and Dad.

The evening wrapped up with a trip to Build a Bear, where Evie made a cute pink and white bear. Jared bought his dog, Brownie, a bicycle helmet w/elbow and knee pads and shorts/shirt outfit.

Opening gifts was held off until Saturday morning....
