Snyder Visit, Remodel

Every year we pick a remodel project. We have made the room for Madison's arrival, painted the kitchen, and now updated the living room.

I know artist sign their work but even this was a bit much. :-)

Snyder Visit, USAF Museum 2

One of my favorite parts to visit is the SR71 Blackbird

A photo of the family coming out of one of the retired Presidential airplanes.

Jared got to sit in a cockpit of a jet fighter. Not sure if they have a big enough booster seat for this. BTW, what does this button do?

Snyder Visit, USAF Museum 1

Part of our trip to the Air Force Museum in Dayton. A completely free exhibit but if you stop and read everything it will take you about 4 days to go through.

This is the plane that dropped the Fat man atomic bomb on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945.

Part of our visit to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis.

We called this Schlitterbrown for the Ohio version of Schillterbahn. Note there is no line, only one ride, but no line.

Snyder Visit 4th of July and Columbus Activities

Jared's 1st experience with a sparkler at the Dublin 4th of July celebration.

And if you don't listen to me we will have to have a talk!

And this is why you should elect me for president!

James has a great talent for catching the best "life photos".

As part of the Snyder's visit we always go to a few parks, the zoo and have a lot of fun.

As you can see, Will is already a lady's man.

Can't say much more than this!

One small note on this, Maddie does not like my beard. Normally she will only kiss my nose as she says my beard hurts.

Snyder Visit, 4th of July Parade

This year we got to participate in the 4th of July parade in downtown Dublin to support Dublin Baptists VBS.

This was Charity's 1st parade.

I wanna be a Cowgirl!

Jared's First Fishing Trip

The state parks in Ohio offer kid days where you can bring your kid to fish. They provide bait, rod and reels, and a pond full of catfish. They even offer people to help you unhook, clean and cook the fish. When you finish the kids get a hot dog, chips with a drink and a nice prize.

Below is a picture of the 2nd fish Jared caught. The first one we didn't get a photo of.

The pond, just waiting for the bite.
