My Li'l Valentines playing in the snow

My Li'l Valentines

A friend of mine from Texas made these ADORABLE capes for the kids!

Yes, Jared got one too, but he put his on and raced off to play Wii (you can see his head in the distant background). I'll have to get some more pics and add them....
Evie wore hers backwards so she could see it better! :)

My little ham.

The 'Captivating' Snow

I took these pictures last Monday (2/8) as I was leaving for Classical Conversations. The next day we got more snow and the captivating snow actually captured me and the kids for the week! Scott was able to get out in the mornings because it was frozen over, but by mid morning it was a slushy nightmare!

Watching it snow

Snow in Ohio+

One of the things I love about Ohio is the snow. Not the little flurries but an actual snow. The flakes are extremely big and are really peaceful to watch fall. The picture of the plate below helps illustrate just how big the flakes can be. These are not multiple flakes that have fallen on the plate but single snowflakes.

In this picture you can also see just how big the flakes are. The flakes below the tree are not falling from the tree but are actually snowflakes.

Same with the picture below.

You can do this in public

That's right. A machine that makes farting noises. If you read it explains how you actually hear a fart.

No, I don't think they sell these to the public.

You want me to go WHERE?

At CoSi they routinely change their exhibits. This exhibit is on the human digestive system. Notice the mouth and stomach. And if you continue to follow the digestive system you come out the , well you fill in the blank. I will give you a hint, going #2. That's right.

A trip to Cosi

Teresa took the kids to CoSi. One of the areas is called gadgets where they have all sorts of mechanical and electronic things to do. Jareds was able to work with one of their staff and learn about computers. He took some of the capacitors and was able to use them for show and tell at school.
