A face lift at age 27??

Yep, born in 1980 (the table, not Scott), we felt it was time to give the kitchen table a new look! :) I thought Mom & Dad would appreciate seeing the old family kitchen table is still being used.

Ooh - that looks like fun. I re-did our kitchen table and chairs a few years ago. I had planned on giving it the "distressed" look before I put the final coat of finish on it, but it had taken so long already and I was already so tired of messing with it that I decided to let it distress naturally. So far, it's working.

The table finished up great and was easeier than I thought. I put the final coat of varnish on it at 3 a.m. (couldn't sleep) We just finished the dining room and have started the daunting task of refinishing our kitchen cabinets. Fun for all!!!
