Happy Easter

As seems to be the case these days, two of our kiddos woke up with a fever this morning. I remarked to Scott that we only seem to make it to church every other Sunday....should've stayed home last week! :) At any rate they were feeling fine after nap and we headed to the zoo. The weather cooperated quite nicely--it snowed (didn't stick or amount to doodly-squat) after we got back home.

The kids painted eggs today. Jared loves art projects, so this was right up his alley. Evie painted two eggs and then said she was done---which was okay with me since she was the messiest! :)

Visit with Aunt Laura & Shelby

We met Laura and Shelby for a weekend of fun! The kids had a sack race in the hotel's hallway....after we got snowed in! :) We ate a few meals in our room and finally got out to eat....at GattiTown. We all had a great time.

Madison's six months old!

Well, our littlest girl is now six months old! Last Thursday she started crawling on her hands and knees--out of the blue. On Wednesday I commented on her "funny crawl" on her hands and feet. Then, on Thursday it clicked! Yay.

On Friday she pulled up on her knees! It was very exciting for me...until she fell and hit her head on the step and then on the wooden floor. Ouch!

Saturday she started babbling--finally. She's still not an official chatterbox, but it's a start.

Today was most exciting----she pulled up on a toy and was standing on her feet. She looked quite impressed with herself as she looked around the room and took it all in.
