Apple Butter Festival

We took a trip into the country and visited the Apple Butter Festival.
The family shared a bag of yummy kettle corn----even little E had some!

On the way home we stopped at the Longaberger factory and saw the world's largest apple basket.

My grandmother got into the Longaberger basket thing - she was nuts about it when they lived in Ohio. Now I know why! Ha!

And I must confess...she gave me a small Longaberger that I recently sold at a garage sale. I know it was supposed to be sentimental, but it was one of the most useless items I've ever had. Too small to put anything in, really, and too flowery to have sitting around. So, I sold it. For a dollar, I think. Sorry, Mimi! There, I feel better.
