Lights at the Zoo

Twice last week we went to look at the lights at the zoo. The train set was amazing. The statistics said it was more than 600 ft of track and more than 6000 ft of wire (I think) and it weighed more than a ton. Jared was amazed; he got to talk to an engineer and run one of the trains.

Isn't she a vision in pink swirls? :)

I have never been to a zoo and seen Christmas lights! We did head down town last night to see the BMG and the taror card business had up lights! And our neighbors who so disgustingly decorated there houses with witches and other demonic things had decorated for Christmas too! Honestly!!! What is wrong with our world! I am going to do some of my own investigations on when, where, and why the tradition of Christmas lights came from. I know about the tree, poinsette, and stockings, and get the santa, reindeers, gingerbreads, and snowmen. BUT why the double standard? Can anyone help me understand- PLEASE!
